Switchman Anti-Torsion Lace-Up Ankle Boot with External Metatarsal Guard

The Safetline Lace-up Anti-torsion Rail Shunter Safety Boot with External Metatarsal Guard was developed for activities requiring maximum stability, impact protection, and safety on uneven terrain. Traditionally known as the Rail Shunter Model, its application originated in railway operations, where foot protection, footwear durability, and torsion prevention are essential factors for worker safety.

Made from water-repellent materials, the safety boot offers excellent resistance to moisture, repelling water and delaying liquid penetration. This feature contributes to greater footwear durability and increased comfort in demanding work environments.

The model features an external TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) metatarsal guard, designed to protect the toe region and instep from impacts caused by falling tools, materials, and other heavy objects. The guard is fixed to the vamp and upper part of the footwear through the lacing system, ensuring efficient protection without compromising mobility.

The exclusive Full Flex® technology provides greater flexibility, resistance, and ergonomics to the assembly, allowing the guard to follow the natural movements of the feet during walking and operational activities.

To increase comfort and prevent debris entry, the safety boot features a padded bellows tongue integrated into the upper, creating an efficient barrier against dust, solid particles, and small debris present in the work environment.

Internally, the model is fully lined with the exclusive SafetDry® system, composed of two layers: one in fabric and one in non-woven material. With no internal seams, the system provides greater thermal comfort, efficient sweat absorption, and rapid moisture dispersion, keeping feet drier and more comfortable throughout the workday.

The dual-density outsole is direct-injected to the upper, offering lightness, excellent shock absorption, high abrasion resistance, and optimal grip on different floor types. Its structure combines a soft midsole for comfort and a compact outsole for greater durability and safety.
