Outsole Slip Resistance (SRC)
The outsole of this line is SRC, meaning it is approved in all tests outlined in item 5.3.5 of the ABNT NBR ISO 20345 (Safety Footwear), ABNT NBR ISO 20346 (Protective Footwear), and ABNT NBR ISO 20347 (Occupational Footwear) standards, offering users the highest level of slip resistance provided for in the standards.
The test is performed on ceramic tile floor with a detergent solution - SRA; and steel floor with a glycerol (oil) solution - SRB. The SRC rating is considered the most complete level, as it combines both tests. All Safetline outsoles also feature fuel oil resistance (FO) according to the requirements of the above standards.
Another requirement where the company's outsoles excel is in the heel energy absorption test (E). The standard requires a minimum impact absorption of 20 Joules. The tests for our models achieve results ranging from 30 to 35 Joules, delivering great comfort to the user.
